Multiverse: Society of Virtue

On Earth-217, in the city of Megalopolis is housed the headquarters of the Society of Virtue, a team of heroes dedicated to the betterment of mankind. Lead by the mighty Big Bang, the team stands against threats from across time and space to ensure mankind's continued safety and happiness.

Nuclear Man: Peter was a worker at a nuclear power plant. One day, an act of sabotage left the core in threat of meltdown. Peter sounded an evacuation alarm and quickly slipped into a hazard suit to enter the core and shut the reactor down manually. Though he was successful, an unseen tear in the lining of his suit exposed him to the radiation. Over the next several days, Peter's body mutated and grew, transforming him into a towering, clawed brute of nearly invincible strength and durability.

Blue Crystallic: Tony was an up-and-coming lawyer when he encountered a dying man in an alley. Trying to help the man, Tony was startled when the man passed him a glowing blue crystal, begging him to look after it. When he got home and placed the crystal on his table, he was amazed when it began to float in midair before striking him in the chest and forming a glowing costume over him. Now, as the Blue Crystallic, Tony is nearly invulnerable and possesses the speed and energy of 50 men.

Majestic: By all accounts an ordinary IT consultant, Maggie is in reality the super-powered femme fatale Majestic. A master-level martial artist, her fighting ability is bolstered by her amazing strength and durability.

Big Bang: The Leader of the Society, and arguably the most powerful hero in the world, the boy who would become Big Bang was raised in a Buddhist monastery in the hidden valley of Shangri-La. When he reached the age of sixteen, the temple's grandmaster revealed he was the latest reincarnation of their order's champion, a warrior in the name of eternal peace and cosmic love against the forces of chaos, pride, greed, selfishness and hate. Under intense physical and spiritual training, he learned to open all nine of his chakra vortices, allowing him near limitless power.

Black Badness: A brooding, dark vigilante from St. Louis, Black Badness was an up-and-coming baseball star when a home invasion ended in the deaths of his wife and children and left him brutally injured. Stewing in self-loathing as he recovered in the hospital, he threw himself into recovering and making his body better than before. When he was discharged, he reworked his sports equipment into an armor-lined suit and sought revenge on the gang, leaving their entire leadership bloody and broken. 

Volt: The second-fastest speedster in the world, Volt has had his powers since his early teens. While not the strongest or most experienced fighter, having only just moved up from purse-snatchers and bank robbers, Volt's speed allows him to move faster than the human eye can process and can deliver 1,000 punches in a second, more than most people's bodies can handle.

Flaring Roach: The son of a ninth-generation member of the Boston Fire Department, Joe put his heart and soul into designing and creating a new form of suit to protect firefighters from intense heat, flame and smoke, increasing their strength and sporting a special sensory array to aide with search and rescue. Any resemblance to an insect is entirely coincidental. One day, as he was testing the suit, Joe spotted a group of kids being pursued by a man with a flamethrower and moved in to help. Defeating the would-be attacker, Joe was hailed as a hero... though he was not crazy about the name the newspaper gave him. Deciding hero-work was something he enjoyed, he integrated the tech from the attacker's flamethrower rig into his suit for his own use.
